Welcome! Come join Katie as she traipses along in her writing journey! A lifelong reader, one of

her earliest memories is from primary school and it was time for the Scholastic book

order, getting to choose 3-4 new books and then having such excitement when they arrived!

Moving on and growing up (because she had to) and with her own kids grown and gone (three

sons who left her with wonderful memories for stories!), Katie began to dream of writing stories

for kids. Katie—still a kid at heart—writes books that touch on the wonder and imagination

found in everyday life, just waiting to be revealed in the words and pages of a picture book.

She has developed her craft along with a few other pastimes—running a small Airbnb

(basement)—baking muffins (for the guests!)—and getting outside to explore all that nature has

to offer.

These days she can be found sitting at her desk writing or out hiking with her two rescue dogs

alongside, finding inspiration and restoration on the trails near her Colorado home.
